So today I decided to try to write the first chapter of this. This is the intro. I still want to write something epic sometime and while this will be pretty big in itself, it's a bit more of a mix of fantasy and suspense. I guess I'd like to write something that's a mystery, and maybe just a straight love story sometime. Just because I seem to be good at developing character relationships. Or at least I have been told I am. *laughs*

The person narrating this is Vondell Demu. He's Jacob Creek's best friend. Jacob is the fallen called Yeter'el I think I'll probably do bio's on them. XD

Tell me what you think. I can always use thoughts of how to make this opening more snappy.

Chapter One: Jezrial

I have always believed in the power of understanding. That just giving a bit of sympathy you might actually save someone. This is why my family named me Vondell; it means hope, though most people only call me Dell. I suppose I lead my life in such a way that I oozed hope; unfortunately it couldn’t save those that I was closest to. My story, their story, began the day that Jezrial Azoloth was born.

I was ten, my father was the doctor, and Jezrial was a hard birth for his mother Madine Azoloth, nee Fitzriel. She was the eldest daughter of the Fitzriel family, a very well off and influential family who ran the largest newspaper and publishing empires in our world. At the time of his birth looked as if her son was going to be a still born, he’d come out pale and blue, and she went into hysterics. But then, miraculously, he coughed and started to cry, even though seconds before he had no pulse. My father chalked it off to some sort of delayed mucus being removed from his lungs. He was very pleased for Mrs. Azoloth, after all it was her first child with Hershel, then within a few weeks the wings came in, and he knew it wasn’t a miracle that had saved Jezrial, but rather a demon and a curse. The child was born with white wings, and soon all of Aligara knew that the last Fallen had been born.

Meh, this entire month has not been good for me. But I suppose that's not a bad thing. *laughs* Anyways. I figured I'll use this place for any stories that I can't put up anywhere else. Right now I have an idea of what I want for some of my fiction, mostly it's going to Fiction Press, but short scenes will probably land up here. *coughs*

A couple of notes on the Fallen:

Leraje -I swear this guy's got more AU going on in his character then I can shake a stick at. I'm not sure how to fit it all into one story, but then again I can just do an AU version that people can see. The only thing I'm worried about is that his level of...er...lust is going to cause issues for some people. Considering he has relations with various people within the first parts of the story.

Vaan -Again the AU will have to come into play because even if I go with the twins, I'm going to have to explain how Yet's going to feel about this. Poor Yeter'el, not to mention Valafor who's going to want to kill Leraje by the time this is over.

*laughs* And to think this was a simple story to begin with Oh well.

Okay this sucks. Lets see here. Yesterday I had to work by myself, which kept me late at work. Then today I was shocked to see how stuiped some people could be.

Namely a group of people that brought down a forum that I go to. Blah. They're not fair at all. This coming from the fact that the site's owners got pissed off that the forum was going to move.

Ahhh nice Rin. Heh, this would be my favorite character in Dragon Voice right before Yuugo Etoh. (Funny I like guys with the names of Yuu in it.) Blah my teeth are a big pain in the butt, finally got on these weird chains that act like rubber bands for my retainers. So that's all and good.

Easter: Twas fun, I got candy, now I can't eat it. Blah. We went by my grandmother's house, although my cousin wasn't there. *pouts* Oh well. Other then that it was basically a pretty calm day.

We had a huge leak in our house a few months ago. Water every where from our sink and then our bathtub got screwed up. So now we have to go downstairs to take a bath.

I'm going to take art classes this summer. But I need to get a job too. *sighs* T_T I have one but I need an internship that can get me an insurance policy. T__T

Mai and Blaze

Meh, I've gotta start drawing again. The pics I've been using are my friend Nec's. She's good isn't she. *grins*

Alright...story time! So a few weeks ago I was having lunch, potato chips, and I crunched too hard. Next thing you know, I've got a busted tooth, but the worst about it, I get a GAPING HOLE because of IT! Yeah, real nice. So today I went to the dentist. Apparently my one tooth, which came in crooked as a kid, now needs to be fixed. This means a retainer. =___= Yes I am so loving that idea. And it's going to be in there for four months or longer, correcting the tooth. Then a crown, joy, other then that, my teeth are healthy. I shouldn't complain, but man. why does it have to be that tooth? Gehh. And the stuff he uses to cover it feels weird. I'm hoping I'm not going to need a root canal. My sister needed one. Thankfully so far I haven't. *grins*

*cracks fingers* Okay Book Review time.

Today's choice, in honor of my teeth I'm going with Eyesheild!

EyeSheild 21 Volume 2:

So you may be wondering where Vol 1 is. Well I have it...I just can't find it. XP

Ahem...So where to start. Well allow me to introduce our lead characters Sena Koboyakawa. He's the hero of this series, a bit on the short side. Like Yuugi Mutou he's a bit shy with a lot of potential. He has no friends, except for Mamori, a girl he's crushing on, who's a year older, and really takes care of him. He's also one of the fastest runners alive. He's become EyeSheild 21, the running back. (I figure I'll give little bits of info about the characters as I feel like it.)

Mamori Anezaki. She's Sena's best friend and has recently become the manager of the foot ball team. She and Hiruma seem to have this weird chemistry. If I didn't know better I'd think he likes her. *laughs* I want to find downloads of the series. Might be worth looking into.

Yoichi Hiruma. Whoot my fave and the man! Yoichi is always called by his last name. He looks like a demon with pointed ears, nose and teeth. And yet somehow...some amazing way...he's actually good-looking for an insane 17 year old. Who'd have thunk it. He's the QB of the team. Also seems to love guns...guns...football...and weapons of all sorts. He's also got a black book for blackmail. *grins* Gotta love a guy that can dig up good dirt. His dog Cerberus is...er...rather annoying. *starts to wonder if there are any fanfics about Hiruma and Mamori*

Ryokan Kurita. This plump chestnut shaped guy is the sweetest person you'd ever meet. He's the line back and one of the toughest to beat on the field. He's also a big fan of cakes. He's Hiruma's best friend, even though Hiruma tends to be a jerk to him from time to time. They really do care about each other.

*****
Chapter 8: Lets see, so the Devil bats kicked the butts of the Cupids. However Mamori sees the way that Sena's being treated by Himura. She tells him off, saying that she won't forgive him. Of course Himura goes for his little black book and is surprised that Mamori's not turning him in. There's a quick eye catch of Himura. It's this that has me thinking that he actually might respect this girl. Weather or not that means that she's going to break Sena's heart...only time will tell. Anyway she asks Himura to stop bullying Sena and intends to find a new club for him. However Sena recalls the times that he was in school being teased and Mamori helped him. He wants a chance to "Go after something with my own hands."

He moves away from Mamori and tells her he wants to keep at being with the football team. Mind you Mamori has no clue that he's Eyesheild 21. Of course Himura comes up with a plot and gets Mamori to become the manager with Sena. So now Sena can work on training more. Kurita's so happy, there's four members now. Anyway apparently the next team up is the Ojo white Knights. Thankfully Hiruma memorized the schedule before he BURNED IT! >_<

Cut to Ojo, we meet Seiiuro Shin and Haruto Sakuraba (well we did in the first volume) who are getting lectured by the coach. Shin's the fastest runner on the team. The coach penalizes him for leaving without fully recording the whole game (Aka D-bats vs Cupids). Haruto feels bad because Shin's protecting him. (Sound familiar?) The coach gives a speech about the most important thing in football, that being defense. Later Shin goes into the work out room. (Pause for drooling ladies) and does a bunch of push ups...on his thumbs....=__=;; I should note that he thinks he's being to easy on himself. "Pampered hands" wonder what that's all about.

At the same time Hiruma and co are back on the train having a talk. In Hiruma's mind Offense will win the game. Oh by the way...this I find very amusing.

Hiruma: *in regards to Eyeshild 21* Well All I got to say about him is, after completing basic training at Russia's prestigious Retskov Athletic Institute. He transferred to Notre Dame University's football exchange program where he scored a hundred points in each game!

*smacks forehead* Um...Riiiiiight....*pats Hiruma on the back* Great imagination kid, it'll get you far...no really.

In the end Hiruma declares that if they protect Eyesheild's running path, Eyeshield will score 100 points. Let's see if luck is on their side.

Extra following chapter: A bunch of letters requesting the tv station to televise the Ojo White Knights game. I feel sorry for that tv station. XD

Plot: It's an interesting chapter. Not a lot of action, but it's a very good set up to what will happen in future chapters.

Art: Out side of some of the darker shading which I think could have been done better, it was very good as usual.

Overall: four stars out of five.
Fun in the Snow
LOL, well how long has it been. Several months to be exact. Man I feel like such a silly. I go this as a place to blab to, and I haven't been using it. Well no more, starting today I write.

Sunday

What's there to say? Well for one thing I should talk about what happened with EVE and everything. *laughs* She'll kill me if I use her real name. *laughs* Okay so to start with we were discussing matters of her life and just making each other laugh like crazy. Apparently my mind is quite frequently in the gutter. Not something that I'm totally proud of, but I guess I'm just...gutter minded. Better then sitting around and not having much of a mind.

Like I said we were talking about things, and more interestingly about the fact that she used to not be so innocent as she seems. Some how this got into talking about how weird families,s are. Particularly hers, especially the males in there. Like how her brother when he was 14 was stealing jello shots from a party with his friend. She told me that she's not marrying a guy that gets drunk at parties. Here here! *laughs*

What else...well apparently it's hard for her to see what sort of guy I would be with. Not that it's easy for me to picture being with anyone. Well at least how we would meet, the rest seems to be easy for me. Oh and apparently we may...or may not...go out to a club. Yeah right. Like that is ever going to happen. And I some what shocked her by stopping Sparky by our quad. She was ready to kill me. *grins* Not really, but she did call me a "brat" in fun. Oh and men seem to be germophobic more then women. Go fig, at least where I work.

Example: *Chris: *bringing over a scarf mixed in with other objects* Here
this is yours.
*Me: Um...no it's not. That's someones scarf.
*Cris: *Let's it drop to the floor*
*Me: You going to pick that up?
*Chris: No...I ain't picking that sh*t up.
*Me: *to Sparky* Well I'm not picking it up. You guys dropped it.
*Sparky: I ain't picking it up, it's on the floor by you.
*Chris: Yeah so you two handle it. *they try to walk away.*
*Me: Well I'm not picking it up. You were fine when you were
carrying it before. So why don't you just pick it up.
*Chris: *still trying to walk away...eventually comes back with a
pen and picks up said scarf, throws it in the trash.* You could
have done it.
*Me: *laughs* Um no, you brought it over, you throw it out.

Like I said, scared of some germs.

Monday

Came up with an idea finally for a fanfic with Bakura and Kanika. And I finished the Yo-Yo, now to edit and send out. Speaking of which...I HATE THE JOB MARKET! I can't seem to find a damn job. Blah, and the ones I send out for I don't hear from. Why? What's wrong with me? I look I do what I'm supposed to. What more can I do?

I've also sent out a story to three places...still have some other ones to send to. Nurgh...God, Gods, or whoever's up there. Help me get a job writing so I can get my book going. Please!

V-Day

I don't know why I tend to get down on this day and the day that follows. Two years ago this wouldn't have irked me, I guess because I made friends I've let my walls crack some and because of that even small emotions flood me. That probably isn't all that good. Like I was telling Rechan last night, I've been feeling wistful. Everyone seems to have someone to flirt with and it just...I don't know...it gets to me. I want to be able to have that. I guess it's just natural to get that feeling once in a while. Not that I'm depressed, mind you, just really tired of a lot of things. Pressure to be perfect. I guess that's the only way to put it. *laughs* I'm trying not to think of how some of my extended family must be thinking I'm such a loser. No boyfriend, no "real" job, living at home at 24. Blah. Now I sound like I'm down. Well maybe I am a little but not as much as I'm sure other people were yesterday.

Reading list

New thing, I'm going to start discussing Mangas that I've been reading, and to start things off.

Princess Ai
Plot: Follows the story of Ai, a mystery girl that falls into Tokyo one night. She's discovered by Kent, a college student who finds her interesting. She has a heart shaped locket and dresses in what one would call torn gothic like clothing.

Book one: Wow what to say about this one. It's a quick read, but the cool thing is the lyrics to songs. The artist DJ Milky wrote them for this book. Firstly you have Ai, the alternate version of Courtney Love who helped create the series, then you have a very unique cast of characters that make me laugh. Hikaru, Jen, and the group at Haybusa entertainment make up the first grouping of characters Ai meets in this world.

Book two: I'll put in details for these two later.

Book three: Most revealing of the series to date. Milky does have a style of making scenes amusing, although I must warn here. I'm about to reveal spoilers.

Ahem...So after Ai and Kent run off, Hikaru and Jen meet on the streets. Each are looking for their respective friend. The two literally bump into each other. OUCH! And discover that they're both looking for Ai and Kent. After a discussion of why they like each one...not really all that necessary in my opinion, but I forgive, first time serialization for the author...they head out to look for the wayward love birds. Hikaru gives the Seers (a group that detests Ai and all she stands for apparently) a piece of his mind after he and Jen come upon a group of them. Mean time Kent and Ai are falling for each other, and she gives him a locket. Cute version of Ai with the tears on her face.

Later we see our heroes on a world tour, or rather on a brief world tour. No you don't get to see that, which kinda sucks. During an autograph session you get a glimpse of a thief that factors in a few pages later. He breaks into Ai's apartment, while Jen (Jan *will have to go back and check*) is sleeping on the couch. Jen sees the guy, grabs the box with the heart, and dies along with the thief. Apparently the gem on top, it's made of Dogen blood and it kills Humans. Ai becomes depressed, and while on a bus ride to Osaka Meggi, Kaz's little devoted servant and Tess's sister, comes in to attack Ai. Tess fends her off with...Flowers...apparently she's venom so sweet things make her sick. Nice. *laughs* Would all villains of the world be stopped by throwing flowers at them.

Of course we discover that Hayubusa is plotting to have Tatsuki or Hiro kill Ai, turning her into a Kurt Cobane, James Dean, god knows who else dead famous rocker. He expects to make a lot of money off of this. Ai's so upset over Jen's death but she still sings, and the next thing you know Meggi's back. Shes' brought along her older sister Alexa who's been sent by Kaz to retrieve them. Tess tries to stop her sisters, but Meggi get's a shot off with a deadly arrow. Kent jumps in the way, gets hit, and dies. _ _;;;

Ai, devastated goes off the deep end, her songs are dark and turn everyone against each other. She's a half breed apparently. Anyway long story short. *Yeah like I ever make my stories short. XP* Alexa confronts Ai, they battle in a way, and Tatsuki comes up to shoot Ai...but he can't do it. *Isn't that always the way.* Alexa freezes time, Tatsuki's gun pointed down. Only there are birds flying over head. Vultures...*What no crows?* "Birds of Death" as Ai-chan calls them. Alexa tells Ai that she's a destroyer, but Ai doesn't want to be.

Ta-da...a bird comes down and it's Fa'an. He's a guardian angel of sorts. Ai discovers she has the power to destroy or create. She calls for more light (and a costume change apparently) just as Hiro, dude with glasses, fires a gun. (He blacked out the lights) Ai sings and two flowers come down, Rose and Amione. One is for humans (the rose) one is for Angels (amione) she puts these on Kent. The arrow hit this locket she gave him...go fig. XD

So Kent comes back to life, Ai sings about love, and all the villains are taken into custody. The Seers come to see her, and give her a book where the box fits. Ai decides to go back to Ai-land and help her people, both halves of her. In Ai land Kaz realizes that Nora (Ai's boyfriend there) is right, Ai is the savior and the Second Revolution. It's decided that Ai and the three sisters are going back to Ai land...and Kent..well he's staying on earth for now.

Interestingly enough that's the end of the Manga. However it said the story isn't over and going to follow in other forms. What those forms are I'm not sure. But probably either a cartoon (anime) or a book series. Either way, this was a interesting start to a unique series. I do recommend it.

Plot: Simple with good humor. Milky needs his work on making the scenes a bit more dramatic with Kent and Ai during the later parts. And the writer needs to be a bit more...straight on with her dialog.

Art: Milky is very good. I do like his clean line, just for some reason reading his stuff makes me giggle. Maybe because it reminds me of Nec's art work. Ah well.

Over all: Very good read, four out of five points. Ai's worth the read if you find it. Not to heavy and not to light. Fan's of Love will like it, the songs need music to them though.

October 3rd, 2005

So today happens to be my friend MOD's birthday. Which is cool because it sits only two days after my friend Lady's birthday. *laughs* I think we should have had a combined birthday party, although I would have been worried if Lady's pet dragon might have scorched the room. *laughs*

Right now I'm trying to figure out how to go about setting up a costume for halloween. I know this isn't the most enlightening thing to be writing about this late at night. I'll probably edit it later. *laughs* For a change of pace, this year I am not going as a Star wars character as I have done in the past, nor am I going as something simple. Like a ghost. No...this year...I'm going all out! As.....

A VICTORIAN LADY!

*hears the silent chirruping of crickets*

-__- I see how people feel...yes not the most thrilling of costumes but it's something that I think will be fun to wear. Besides it'll give me something to do and work on with my hands.

Can't really think of much to say today. Kinda sucks when my brain won't give me something interesting. Like a story idea or something. Right now I have too many running around in my head. The one that I seem to be creating right now is one that revolves around two twin sisters. Consider if you will...two girls Leslie and Bea Moran. (For those who don't know, the Moran name is based off the gangster Buggsy.) Both girls are turning sixteen, and have discovered that they have a gift. One which unfortunately freaks them out. The ability to kiss someone and then instantly see their most secret desires. Sounds kinda hokey I know, but when you think about it...the idea is rather creepy. At least that's what I'm aiming for with this.

It must really be hard on the girls considering the way they find out. A halloween party...Leslie gets her first kiss and then...Suddenly she sees that the guy that she likes wants her in a rather ill fitting french maid outfit that's three sizes too small for her. And that's when all hell breaks loose. To see this, and then find out your sister shares in your ablity...to see what you see...it completely freaks out the normally stoic Leslie. Luckily her calm sister Bea is ready to handle it...almost. Bea doesn't see it as a bad thing, but rather as a way of blackmailing and getting even with guys at school.

Hopefully I'll write it in one sitting tomorrow. *laughs* Should be a fun short story to work on. Oh and as a treat...my website is almost up. Now to figure out how to make my own and link them and then...er...*sweatdrops* Not sure yet...but I'll figure it out. *grins*

Ah Anniversaries...

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Dark with a Scarf
Well today as it is, it's my parents anniversary. Twenty eight years of living as husband and wife. Strange to be saying that because right now I'm almost twenty four and I can still remember it being their 25th only a few months ago. *laughs* So what am I getting them? Well poems that I wrote myself, which I'm rather proud of. It's the hardest thing in the world to give some one a gift when you know them so well. I guess that's the thing about Anniversaries. The more time that passes the more you grow used to just being together rather then getting each other things.

I guess to me the idea of marriage is something that's the ultimate situation with someone that completely fits with me. You know it's funny to a lot of people the whole marriage thing is treated so casually. You don't like your spouse you just get a divorce. It's almost like people are saying they just want to date and go steady, but that steady is wedding bells, and for some reason it just drives me nuts when people get married and then divorced so fricken fast. Why get married if you're not really in love with the person?

Like the fact that Renee Z and her husband just split after four months. Why rush into it? Because you want to marry and then say that you did that? Big deal, why not just go steady? No fuss no having to deal with the whole lawyer thing? You would thin that would be so much simpler. But I guess marriage has become the chic way to go steady. It's an odd thing that people see it as this. I mean I know of two of my old friends from elementary school who are both married and one has a child and both are my age. But marriage is something that seems really daunting to me right now.

You can't just say I do to just anyone. It's something that connects you to a person and if you just marry because you feel this need to make it a steady relationship, then what's the point? That's just silly, at least in my opinion.

September 29th, 2005

Actually I'm just in the mood to spout out a few things on my mind, namely my story characters.

Right now I'm going through a phase where the characters are in hibernation, and I think it's just because I haven't been able to come up with the rules of the game for it. Might as well start at the beginning. See my idea is for a story that revolves around a card game...No this NOT a Yugioh knock off, the only similarity is the cards rather then the events in the story. I guess the main trouble I'm having right now is defining the game, if I have that then the story will fall into place, but the thing is that the game itself is so key to the story that I'm worried about how to get the rules right. *laughs*

The characters are set, well at least the main ones, I even have birth dates for them. I think the hardest one to define by far, personality wise is the hero Alexander. It's not that he's a hard guy to understand...well actually yes he is. *laughs* His main beef with the world seems to be that he's been forced to take on the spirit of this family curse, or at least he sees it as a curse, but the thing is that even though he hates it he still does it. Unlike Say a certain star headed duelist king, Alex has no close bond to his other half, and to make matters worse, the seal that came with the medallion that held the spirit in it (that would be Athen)has been stolen and broken by the one girl that Alex seems to despise, that would be Dark. *laughs* Yes I know I'm taking on the name of my character here, but so what. She's no mary Sue I can tell you that much.

Like I said he's hard to figure out...but that's something I have to do. In other news...um...Idea's for my friends RPG seem to be moving along nicely. Sadly a lot of people have been infected by an on-line bug of doom! Knock on wood that I'm still in one piece. ^_^

Okay enough chit chat for one day...might as well work on other things. See ya.
